Thrive: 2011

My word for 2011 is THRIVE.

1
: to grow vigorously : flourish
2
: to gain in wealth or possessions : prosper
3
: to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances

Definition #3 is what I was thinking about, but the word actually chose me.  I asked the question what is my word going to be for 2011 and later  it "dawned" on me that I have been seeking to thrive.  Those closest to me know all the details to why this word is so appropriate.  So this is my focus word..

What is yours?

What a great idea and a great word you chose! Definition #3 also fits my goal for 2011. I might have to make that my word too. :)

Great word! There are several that I could use, I don't know if I"ve narrowed it down to just one, but BELIEVE was kind of my word for the last part of this year, it might continue with me into 2011!!

That is a great word! It feels like a good action word and very positive. I'm pretty sure that QUEST found me. I'm searching for a lot of things in my life these days so this one feels right for 2011. The other word that I can't seem to let go of is CHOICES. We have so many choices to make every single day. I'm working on making better ones. :)
